The Freeman High School varsity homecoming football game scheduled for Friday has been canceled because Canistota does not have enough players available to field a team, according to the Freeman School District.
Homecoming festivities will continue as planned. A junior high football game will begin at 5 p.m., with Freeman’s homecoming royalty announced during the game.
There will be no concessions at the field. The High School Music Boosters’ pork loin barbecue has been moved to the high school lunchroom and will run from 5 to 7 p.m.
