(LOS ANGELES) — Kevin Hart and Mike Epps entered into a vicious war of words online after Epps commented that “everybody is” funnier than Kevin Hart.
It all started when Epps shared a photo of him and Eddie Murphy on set of Netflix’s Dolemite. After a fan commented, “Eddie Murphy Is Funnier Than Kevin Hart Still,” Epps replied “S*** everybody is…” in a since-deleted post captured by RhymeswithSnitch.
Hart apparently didn’t take the jab too lightly, later firing back directly at Epps. “@eppsie it’s a shame that everybody isn’t selling tickets like me tho…..”
When ComedyHype picked the story and shared it on Instagram, Epps commented that their beef wasn’t “press worthy.”
Hart, however, had plenty to say on the matter.
“All I can say is that your a sad individual,” he wrote in the comments. “I talked to you several times face to face in attempts to put the B.S behind us. I even reached out to u like a man and tried to get to the bottom of your bitterness.”
He continued, “You are the biggest crab I know…I will continue to shine and continue to make history and continue to do comedy at the HIGHEST level. If that makes u sick then so be it….”
After Hart’s response, Epps clapped back, saying Hart was playing a “victim.”
“I’ve been doing this s*** 25+ yrs Mr. Victim. Don’t get too cute lil brother,” he wrote. “This s*** is a lifetime achievement. & stop following my comments around the World Wide Web.”
He continued, “The whole internet talk about you, so don’t stop here you got a lot of responding to do. And for everybody reading… this is not a beef…You seem to be a great person… but I still don’t think yo a** funny.”
