(LOS ANGELES) — Avengers: Infinity War has topped the $2 billion mark at the worldwide box office, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is only the fourth film ever to hit the $2 billion milestone.
As of Tuesday morning, the Marvel Cinematic Universe film boasted a $2.002 billion global tally, including $656.1 million in North America and $1.346 billion overseas.
The only other films to pass the $2 billion worldwide mark are Avatar Titanic and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. What separates Infinity War, however, is that the others were released over the year-end holidays. Infinity War debuted in April.
The as-yet-untitled sequel to Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a 2019 release. The two films were shot back to back.
Disney is the parent company of Marvel and ABC.
