Marvel Studios/Disney(LOS ANGELES) — It was a good night for Marvel Studios at the People’s Choice Awards broadcast on the E! network Sunday night.
Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War was named Movie of 2018 and Action Movie of 2018, while Marvel’s Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman and Danai Gurira were named Male Movie Star and Action Movie Star of 2018, respectively. Infinity War‘s Scarlett Johansson was named Female Movie Star of 2018.
Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ABC News.
On the musis side, BTS was named the Group of the Year and their song “Icon” won both The Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year. Rapper Nicki Minaj picked up awards for Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year, for Queen.
