Honest Stranger Finds, Returns Texas Man’s Lost Wallet

After visiting his family in Lubbock, Texas, Christopher Nall was heading back to College Station, where he’s an engineering major at Texas A&M, when he realized his wallet was missing.

He called his dad, Matt Nall, who had him search his car again before he set out to retrace Christopher’s steps back in Lubbock.

They were about to call to cancel the lost cards when Matt found the wallet placed on the hood of a car in their driveway.

Confused about how it got there, he checked their home security footage and saw a man delivering the wallet.

The video captured the man knocking on the door, speaking to the garage camera, and explaining that he found the wallet and was returning it to the listed address.

The wallet was quickly shipped to Christopher, allowing him to use his student ID for his tests that week.

Through social media, Matt was able to connect with the kind stranger, Clinton Arthur, and they met up so he could thank him in person. “This may be the average day for this guy,” Matt says, “He may be just a good Samaritan all day long, and this is no big deal but, that instance, it was a big deal to me.”
