© 2018 WARNER BROS. ENTERTAINMENT INC.(LOS ANGELES) — Insecure star Natasha Rothwell is headed back to the big screen.
According to Deadline, Rothwell has been added to Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 1984, joining franchise newcomers Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal and returning stars Gal Gadot and Chris Pine.
Although details on Rothwell’s character are being kept under wraps, the film, which is currently in production, is set in the 1980s and follows Diana facing off against a new villain named Cheetah, played by Wiig.
This is the latest project for Rothwell, who also stars on Issa Rae’s HBO series Insecure. She recently appeared in the film Love, Simon, and will have a role in the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog live-action film.
