(LOS ANGELES) — Jada Pinkett Smith is opening up about her addictions, including her over-active sex drive.
In a new episode of Facebook show Red Table Talk, the Girls Trip actress confessed to battling sex addiction when she was younger.
“When I was younger, I definitely think I had a sex addiction of some kind, yes, that everything could be fixed by sex,” she said.
Smith had previously hinted possible addiction to sex, when she admitted to her daughter Willow on a previous episode that she used sex toys when she was 21 to give herself “five orgasms a day.”
On Monday, Pinkett Smith elaborated on her addiction, explaining “If you want to have a lot of sex, that’s great. But why are you having all that sex? That’s what you’ve got to look at.”
Pinkett Smith revealed that she also battled addiction to alcohol and excessively working out.
“I remember reaching a rock bottom that time I was in the house by myself and I had those two bottles of wine and was going for the third bottle,” Smith recalled. “And I was like, ‘Now hold up. You’re in this house by yourself going onto your third bottle of wine? You might have a problem.’”
Jada said she eventually went “cold turkey” and cut out alcohol in her life.
