(NEW YORK) — Ready for take three of Take Two? The third episode of the crime dramedy airs tonight on ABC.
Rachel Bilson plays recently-rehabbed actress Sam Swift, who teams up with private investigator Eddie Valetik [vuh-LEH-tick], played by Eddie Cibrian, to solve crimes, and get her life back on track in the process. But Sam ends up changing Eddie, too.
“Sam Swift basically brings some joy back into his life and makes it a little less boring, let’s just say,” Cibrian tells ABC Radio.
“She shakes things up a little bit,” Bilson adds.
In tonight’s episode, the two investigate a missing person connected to a shady L.A. club owner. They clash over how to handle the case, because Eddie has bad blood with the club owner, but Sam was friends with him back in her clubbing days.
As usual, Sam – who used to star in a cop TV series — will put her acting skills to good use. So, has there ever been a skill Bilson picked up for a role that later came in handy in real life?
“I’d like to say learning how to suture when I [played] a doctor came in handy, but it hasn’t yet and I hope it never does ‘cause I actually don’t remember how to do it,” Bilson says, referring her role on Hart of Dixie. “But at the time I felt competent.”
Take Two airs tonight at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
