Sacha Baron Cohen teases new project with Donald Trump video
ABC/Randy Holmes(HOLLYWOOD) — Controversial comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is cooking up something new – and it appears to involve President Donald Trump.
In a video posted to social media Wednesday, Cohen teases he’s “back as you’ve never seen him before.” The clip begins with footage of Trump badmouthing Cohen back in 2012 in response to one of Cohen’s red carpet stunts.
“This third-rate character named Sacha Baron Cohen, I only wish that he would’ve been punched in the face so many times right now he’d be in a hospital,” Trump says in the video. “It was disgraceful. He should’ve been fired immediately.”
He tells Cohen to “go to school” and “learn about being funny” because “you don’t know sh**.”
The message “Sacha graduates soon” then flashes across the screen and the video ends with the logo of Trump University.
Cohen and Trump have had a rocky past. Cohen previously spoke with Trump while in character as wannabe rapper Ali G for Da Ali G Show, but Trump boasted, “I never fall for scams. I am the only person who immediately walked out of my ‘Ali G’ interview.”
