(LOS ANGELES) — Martin Bregman, producer of the Al Pacino films Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scarface, Sea of Love and Carlito’s Way, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 92 on Saturday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Bregman, who discovered Pacino in an Off Broadway play, was the personal and business manager for Pacino, as well as Alan Alda, whose films The Seduction of Joe Tynan, The Four Seasons, and Betsy’s Wedding, he also produced.
Bregman’s other famous clients, over the years have included Barbra Streisand, Woody Allen, Faye Dunaway, Candice Bergen and Bette Midler.
