(NEW YORK) — Wendy Williams is taking another break from her daytime talk show. Following her return earlier this month after a two-month hiatus, Williams is now scheduled to take another week off starting in April.
“The Wendy Williams Show is taking a previously scheduled spring break hiatus and airing repeat episodes during the week of April 1st,” a rep tells US Weekly. “The show will return with original episodes on April 8th.”
According to Page Six, Williams’ break comes at an opportune time. According to the gossip site, Williams was rushed to the hospital on Monday, following the birth of a baby by her husband’s alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson.
Williams was reportedly taken to the hospital, where she was given IV fluids. She managed to make it to work the next day and filmed her show without any reported issues.
As previously reported, last week Williams revealed on-air that she has been living in a sober house.
“I have been living in a sober house.… You know I’ve had a struggle with cocaine in the past,” she told her audience. “I never went to a place to get treatment.
Prior to her announcement, Williams had been absent from her daytime talk show for over two months, and attributed the hiatus to a fractured shoulder and her battle with Graves’ disease.
During that time, there were rumors that Wendy’s marriage to husband Kevin Hunter was on the rocks due to his ongoing affair.
