(LOS ANGELES) — Jordan Peele is bringing a new series to YouTube.
According The Hollywood Reporter, YouTube has given a straight-to-series order to Weird City, a half-hour comedic sci-fi anthology created by Jordan Peele and Key & Peele‘s Charlie Sanders.
The series, which is set in the “not-too-distant future” city of Weird, is set to explore the everyday issues of those dwelling in the city. It comes less than a month after Peele and his Monkeypaw Productions signed an overall TV deal with Amazon Studios.
Weird City will debut exclusively on YouTube Premium in 2019.
