Skip the veggies, man eats raw chicken in post-workout meal

Sylvester Stallone‘s Rocky had his raw eggs, but one exercise buff swears by eating raw chicken and unpasteurized butter and milk as part of his post-workout meal.

The man, who goes by the twitter handle, @BlazenBrady, claims vegetables actually make you weak.

On Saturday, he posted a photo of his meal, captioned, “Post-workout meal: fresh raw chicken, week-old steak I left in my fridge, my favorite, bacon, raw butter, raw milk.”

“Chicken is not bad at all and tastes fine,” he continues.  “This meal is my standard meal I usually eat all the time, I eat mainly more steak over chicken though usually.”

Lest you think this is just a put-on, Brady posted a followup video captioned, “Since everyone is asking me for a video of eating raw chicken here you go. And remember the Raw Primal Diet is your natural diet, that regenerates you over time and will make you feel amazing.”

In another tweet, he insists, “Vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, are not optimal health. All of them contain antinutrients which cause issues. Think of it like nature’s candy, it’s fine in moderation and for certain circumstances, but not your main diet.”

However, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention warns, “Raw foods of animal origin are the most likely to be contaminated, specifically raw or undercooked meat and poultry, raw or lightly cooked eggs, unpasteurized (raw) milk, and raw shellfish.”

“Most raw poultry contains Campylobacter and may contain Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens, and other bacteria, while raw meat may contain Salmonella, E. coli, Yersinia, and other bacteria,” adds the CDC.
